Corporate Team Building
From way back in the day, John Le Brocq has devised and delivered
fun, challenging and dynamic Film Based Team Building exercises
to bring workmates together in a relaxed but inspiring venture.
The Re-Cycle Creative Thinking Programme, created to help develop
skills in problem solving and build confidence, was run through
Cinderella productions and devised with Sofia Olins who was subsequently
rewarded by being awarded as a Leader For London.
Exercises run from a single day to a whole week, can accomodate
from 6 to 60 participants and be tailored to individual needs and
circumstances. Feedback from all past events is always incredibly
positive, especially once the participants have got over the shock
of being presented with the seemingly impossible challenge to make
a short film in such a limited time frame.
Not only do they learn a lot about their own capabilities, they
learn more about their workmates and have a ball in the process.

Film
Tuition
Straight from graduating Film School, John was invited to help devise
an Intensive Short Introduction to Filmmaking Course for London
Film Academy. A quite unique opportunity and also something of a
challenge, the course was an immediate success attracting between
8 and 24 students every month and running for 10 months of the years.
The
Course is a fantastic experience and opportunity to learn Filmmaking
in a hands on environment. By the end of each course, all students
will have taken part in between 2 and 6 short film productions originated
on S16 Film Stock. The course culminates in a screening at London
Film Academy's Screening Room.
Better still, after extensive collaboration to develop the course,
John became a regular Tutor, beginning with Visual Storytelling
and Storyboarding Skills for Directors, as his filmmaking progressed
so did the Tutoring and John became the course Directing Tutor.
The 4 week course has now been successsfully running for 7 years
with very many students continuing to more advanced Film Education
or even going straight to work in the Film Industry.
A
long held passion is to take a similar approach to Feature Films
and put the paper plan for a Filmmaker's Finishing School into on
set action. In the meantime, we're regularly called on to advise
past students and even complete strangers about all aspects of filmmaking
from script to screen.
